Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University IIQS Holds Special Ramadan Tafsir for Management and Staff
Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), through its International Institute of Qur’anic Science (IIQS), organized a special two-day Ramadan Tafsir for its management and staff on March 19 and 20, 2025. The event provided an opportunity for spiritual reflection and moral development during the holy month.

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), through its International Institute of Qur’anic Science (IIQS), recently organized a special Ramadan Tafsir for the university’s management and staff.
The two-day event, held on March 19 and 20, 2025, provided an avenue for both male and female staff members to engage in spiritual reflections and moral upliftment during the holy month of Ramadan. The Tafsir aimed to deepen participants' understanding of Islamic teachings while fostering unity and ethical values within the university community.
Speaking on the significance of the initiative, KHAIRUN’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, commended the effort and encouraged attendees to apply the lessons learned in their daily lives. He further called on other institutions to adopt similar programmes, emphasizing their role in promoting societal values and collective well-being.
The Ramadan Tafsir aligns with KHAIRUN’s commitment to holistic development, integrating academic excellence with spiritual and moral growth.
