Kidnapping of University of Maiduguri Students: Families Seek Help to Raise Ransom

A distressing situation is unfolding in Nigeria, where 20 students from the University of Maiduguri, including 19 of their coursemates, were kidnapped in Benue State.

The kidnappers are demanding a ransom of 50 million naira (approximately $31,500 USD) for their release.

The families of the kidnapped students are appealing for urgent help to raise the required funds. They are working together to raise ₦2.5 million per person to meet the kidnappers' demand. Any contribution, no matter how small, can help bring these individuals home safely.
