KIU Senate Honors Professor Emeritus Shettima Umara Bulakarima

The Senate of Kashim Ibrahim University (KIU), has honored one of its member, Professor Shettima Umara Bulakarima for attaining the Distinguished rank of Professor Emeritus.

The Vice-Chancellor of Kashim Ibrahim University, Professor Babagana Gutti, on behalf of the Council, Senate, Management, Staff, and Students, congratulated Professor Shettima Umara Bulakarima on his conferment with the prestigious rank of Professor Emeritus at the recent Convocation Ceremony of the University of Maiduguri.

Professor Gutti, who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Central Administration, Professor Shettima Mustapha Bulama at its 27th Senate Meeting, presented an Award of Excellence and a Roll-up banner to Professor Emeritus Shettima Umara Bulakarima to commemorate the feat.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Central Administration, Professor Shettima Mustapha Bulama, assisted by the DVC Academics Professor Shuaibu Garba Ngulde and the Registrar Mrs Jallaba M. Sheikh, described Professor Emeritus Bulakarima as a dedicated member of the University Senate who consistently contributed to the growth and development of the University since its inception.

The VC prayed Allah to continue to uplift, protect and bless Professor Bulakarima in his future endeavors.
