Kogi State Polytechnic Announces Resumption, Registration, and Matriculation Dates for 2025/2026 Session

Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has released the approved resumption date and other key academic activities for the 2025/2026 session following an emergency meeting of the Academic Board held on Monday, September 4, 2025.

According to a statement signed by the Registrar, fresh and returning students (excluding those on SIWES) are to resume on Monday, September 15, 2025, while students on SIWES are expected back on Monday, December 8, 2025.

The registration exercise will begin on September 15 and run until October 10, 2025. Late registration, which attracts a penalty fee of ₦5,000, will be open from October 13 to October 17, 2025.

Orientation and matriculation ceremonies for new students have been scheduled between October 27 and October 29, 2025.

The Rector, on behalf of the Management and Academic Board, wished students safe travels back to campus and urged them to adhere to the calendar to ensure a smooth academic year.
