Kwara State University (KWASU) NUC Accreditation
Kwara State University (KWASU) in Malete has once again proven its commitment to excellence as the National Universities Commission (NUC) re-accredits 12 of its programmes.
KWASU’s Re-accreditation Success
In the 2022 November/December round of accreditation exercises, KWASU presented 12 programmes for re-accreditation. The NUC, in a notice dated March 9, 2023, granted a 100% pass mark to all of the submitted programmes. The notice, addressed to the Visitor to the University and Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, was signed by the Deputy Director of Programme Accreditation at NUC, Architect S.S. Ikani.
The re-accredited programmes span various fields, including:

- Christian Studies
- Islamic Studies
- History and International Studies
- Library and Information Science
- Special Education
- Human Kinetics
- Geology
- Industrial Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Statistics
