KWEPA Commends Thomas Adewumi University for Excellence in Environmental Sustainability

Thomas Adewumi University has been commended by the Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA) for its outstanding commitment to maintaining a clean, sustainable, and eco-friendly campus.

Following a comprehensive inspection of the University's waste management systems, water conservation practices, green spaces, and overall environmental impact, the KWEPA team expressed high satisfaction with the University’s sustainability efforts.

Receiving the team, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francisca O. Oladipo, reaffirmed TAU’s strong alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its resolve to promote environmental responsibility as a core part of education and community development.
