Lagos State University (LASU) is set to host its 116th Inaugural Lecture, delivered by Professor Rasheed Ishola Sanni from the Department of Science and Technology Education, Faculty of Education.
Titled "Rethinking Mathematics Teaching Through Pedagogical Content Knowledge: Appropriate Application of the Contrast Between Listening to and Listening for", the lecture promises to provide insights into innovative approaches to mathematics instruction and effective pedagogical strategies.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, LASU Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos. Guests are expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m., with the lecture commencing at 2:00 p.m.
Professor Sanni’s presentation forms part of LASU’s tradition of promoting academic excellence and research dissemination, offering faculty, students, and the public an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge educational scholarship.
