LASU Leadership Congratulates Alumnus Tunji Disu on Appointment as Acting Inspector General of Police

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Lagos State University (LASU), Mr. Babatunde Ogala, SAN, OFR, alongside Vice-Chancellor Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, have extended warm congratulations to distinguished LASU alumnus Mr. Tunji Disu on his appointment as Acting Inspector General of Police of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Announced by the Presidency on Tuesday, 24th February 2026, Mr. Disu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Education and Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Criminology, Security, and Legal Psychology from LASU. His appointment is a meritorious recognition of his integrity, professionalism, and decades of disciplined service to the nation.
