Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has announced the commencement of applications into its Pre-Degree Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The application portal officially opened on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, and will close on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
The programme will run for six (6) calendar months with an additional three (3) months compulsory intensive ICT training designed to equip candidates with relevant digital skills.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in not more than two sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB. The subjects must include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology / Agricultural Science / Economics / Geography (depending on the chosen field)
Application Procedure
- Visit the admission portal: https://apply.lautech.edu.ng
- Make a non-refundable payment of ₦15,000 using an InterSwitch-enabled debit card.
- Complete and submit the online application form.
- Print an acknowledgement slip with your passport photograph.
Entrance Examination
- Date: Thursday, October 9, 2025
- Time: 9:00 a.m.
- Venue: LAUTECH New ICT Complex
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Conditions for Admission into Degree Programmes
Successful candidates must:
- Pass the Pre-Degree Programme examination.
- Participate fully in the compulsory ICT training.
- Sit for the 2026 UTME and obtain the required cut-off mark.
- Choose LAUTECH as their first choice institution in UTME.
- Be considered based on performance and availability of space in chosen programmes.
