The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has announced January 22, 2026, as the new date for the University’s 71st Inaugural Lecture.
The lecture was earlier postponed because it coincided with the end-of-year holiday declared for staff and students.
The inaugural lecture will be delivered on behalf of the Faculty of Nursing Science by Professor of Public Health Nursing, Florence Oluyemisi Adeyemo. It will be preceded by a free medical screening for staff and students of the University.
Titled “Public Health Nursing as a Frontline Profession in Preventive Health Care,” the lecture is scheduled to begin at 12 noon, with guests expected to be seated by 11:45 a.m. at the Great Hall, Main Campus, Ogbomoso.
