Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, has urged Human Resource Departments and Managers in Nigeria to develop a digital transformation plan that aligns with their organizational strategy.

Speaking at the maiden Public Lecture of the Ogbomoso Chapter, Oyo State Branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Managers, Nigeria, Professor Kalilu emphasized that technology has become a crucial driver of Modern Human Resource Management, transforming how organizations attract, develop, motivate, and retain talent.

Professor Kalilu noted that while digital technologies have significantly reshaped human resource management in Nigeria, many organizations still face challenges, including limited infrastructure, high implementation costs, inadequate digital literacy, and resistance to technological change.
