MAAUN President, Prof. Gwarzo Mourns Renowned Public Relations Guru, Malam Kabir Dangoggo

Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, President of MAAUN Group of Universities, has mourned the passing of renowned Public Relations expert, Malam Kabir Dangoggo, who died at 76.

The President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of renowned Public Relations expert, Malam Kabir Dangoggo, who died on Friday at the age of 76.

In a condolence message released on Sunday and made available to journalists in Kano, Prof. Gwarzo described the late Dangoggo as a humble and dedicated professional who made significant contributions to the development of journalism and the public relations industry in Nigeria.

He noted that Dangoggo, who served as the Secretary-General of the African Public Relations Association (APRA), played a vital role in elevating Nigeria’s status in global PR circles. Prof. Gwarzo emphasized that his legacy in the profession would be remembered for years to come.

"Malam Kabir Dangoggo was a highly respected figure in the PR industry. His immense contributions to the field and his unwavering dedication to professionalism will not be forgotten. His passing is a great loss to the nation," Prof. Gwarzo stated.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and provide his family and loved ones with the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

Late Dangoggo was laid to rest in Kaduna following a funeral prayer held at the Sultan Bello Mosque on Friday, attended by family members, friends, and colleagues who came to pay their last respects.
