The McPherson University community has warmly welcomed back Miss Babatunde Oyindamola Feranmi, a 400-level student, following her successful participation in a prestigious international internship program in Japan.

Miss Oyindamola was selected for the fully sponsored internship organized by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) under the FY2024 Amendment Co-Creation Type Technical Human Resources Exchange Project. The program aims to strengthen collaboration with the Global South by exchanging highly skilled professionals, particularly in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technology sectors.

Upon her return, Miss Oyindamola formally presented her internship certificate to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Francis Igbasan. She expressed gratitude to McPherson University for its support and conducive academic environment, which enabled her to successfully compete with peers from around the world.

Professor Igbasan commended her for standing out among thousands of applicants and for bringing honour to the University. He described her achievement as a testament to the quality of training and mentorship offered by McPherson University.
