The donation was made during her recent visit to the institution, where she also undertook an inspection tour of key departmental facilities, including the Radio and Television Studio, Editing Room, and Photo Studio. The visit provided a firsthand assessment of the university’s investment in experiential learning infrastructure for media and communication students.
Elder Adediji commended the university’s management for what she described as consistent progress in academic delivery and infrastructural development. She noted that strengthening hands-on training in media-related disciplines remains critical to producing graduates who can compete effectively in the professional communications space.
She also reaffirmed her support for educational advancement, stressing the importance of sustained investment in institutions that are actively preparing students for industry demands.
The Registrar, Mrs. Emi Alawode, who accompanied her during the facility tour, provided updates on ongoing projects and broader institutional development efforts aimed at improving teaching quality and student experience across departments.

While receiving the donation on behalf of the university, Mrs. Alawode expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a meaningful contribution that would directly enhance practical training and academic delivery within the Department of Mass Communication.
