McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, has received full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for 10 undergraduate programmes, including Law.

McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, has received full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for 10 undergraduate programmes, including Law.

The approval was contained in a letter signed by the Director of Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Commission.

According to the university, the accreditation followed a comprehensive assessment exercise conducted by NUC teams during visits in October and November 2025.

The accredited programmes are Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Public Health, History and Diplomatic Studies, Information Technology, Law, Biotechnology, and Economics. The accreditation is valid for five years.

Reacting to the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francis Igbasan, described the achievement as a major milestone in the institution’s academic growth and a reflection of sustained commitment to quality education.

He commended staff of the university for their dedication, noting that the outcome underscores McPherson University’s drive toward academic excellence and institutional development.
