Prof. Fatimah Ja'afar Tahir has made history as (now Sa'adu Zungur Gadau University). Her academic journey began in 1991 as a graduate assistant at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), where she earned her BSc, MSc, and PhD in Microbiology.
Prof. Fatimah's dedication to academia has seen her rise through the ranks, becoming a Professor in 2009. She has held various leadership positions, including:
- Director of Academic Planning
- Dean of Postgraduate School
- Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics)
- Vice Chancellor
Prof. Fatimah has served on governing councils and boards, contributing to major research projects. She has over 30 publications to her name, showcasing her expertise and commitment to advancing knowledge in her field.
