Meet Prof. Fatimah Ja'afar Tahir the First Female Professor of Microbiology and the First Female Vice Chancellor of Sa'adu Zungur University

Prof. Fatimah Ja'afar Tahir has made history as (now Sa'adu Zungur Gadau University). Her academic journey began in 1991 as a graduate assistant at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), where she earned her BSc, MSc, and PhD in Microbiology.

Prof. Fatimah's dedication to academia has seen her rise through the ranks, becoming a Professor in 2009. She has held various leadership positions, including:
