MSSN-UDUS Launches Student Labor Compensation Initiative

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has introduced a student labor compensation initiative for its business operations. The program aims to promote equity, fair labor treatment, and halal student entrepreneurship.

Students participating in the initiative will engage in various activities, including production and sales of snacks and liquid soap. Those committing at least 15 hours of weekly labor will receive a weekly compensation of ₦6,000 to ₦7,500, depending on the nature of the work and skill level.

The initiative aligns with Islamic values and MSSN's goals, providing transparent and structured income opportunities for students.
