UCH CMD Receives Leadership Excellence Award

The Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, on Tuesday, 3rd November 2026, received an Award and Certificate of Leadership Excellence at the 45th National Scientific Conference/Annual General Meeting of the Association of Health Records and Information Management Practitioners of Nigeria (AHRIMPN), held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The award was presented in recognition of the CMD's outstanding leadership, dedication, discipline and cooperation.

In his response, the Chief Medical Director expressed appreciation to the Association for finding him worthy of the recognition. He described the award as an encouragement to remain committed to providing purposeful leadership and supporting the growth and development of the healthcare sector.

He also commended the Association for its contributions to the advancement of health records and information management practice in Nigeria.
