NAOBS ATBU Chapter Pays Courtesy Visit to New Matron, Her Excellency Dr. Bldr. Lami Kawu

The National Association of Building Students (NAOBS) ATBU Chapter, led by President Lukman Yusuf Olamilekan, paid a courtesy visit to their new matron, Her Excellency Dr. Bldr. Lami Kawu, on August 17, 2024.

Dr. Kawu, also President of the National Association of Nigeria Female Professional Builders and National Matron for NAOBS, was appointed as the new matron of the ATBU Chapter.

The visit aimed to discuss the union's vision, introduce new initiatives promoting academic excellence, and encourage active participation in building activities. The meeting explored opportunities for collaboration beyond the university, seeking guidance from Dr. Kawu.

The productive meeting reaffirmed the union's commitment to promoting beneficial alternatives for students within and outside the university. The visit culminated in the presentation of the matronship award and appointment letter to Dr. Kawu.
