NAPS National President Attends Historic NIPOSSGA 2025 Opening Ceremony at Auchi Polytechnic

The National President of the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), His Excellency Comrade Eshiofune Paul Oghayan [GCNPS SHOPRITE], attended the grand opening ceremony of the 22nd Nigeria Polytechnic Senior Staff Games (NIPOSSGA) today at Auchi Polytechnic.

The event was a remarkable gathering graced by numerous dignitaries, including Apostle Johnson Suleman, the Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) Professor Idris Bugaje (ably represented), members of governing councils, rectors, and staff from various institutions nationwide.

In his address, Comrade Eshiofune emphasized that the 22nd NBTE/NIPOSSGA edition is more than just a sporting competition; it represents a celebration of unity, a demonstration of strength, a cultivation of skills, and a testament to the enduring spirit of Nigerian polytechnic communities.

The NAPS President heartily congratulated the Rector of Auchi Polytechnic and his entire management team for delivering this historic event. This marks a significant milestone, as it is the first time since the institution's founding in 1963 as a Technical College and its upgrade to a Polytechnic in 1973 that Auchi Polytechnic has hosted this national competition.
