NBTE Commends OGITECH Rector for Transformational Work
The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has commended the Rector of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, for the remarkable transformation and development taking place at the Institute.
The commendation was made during a Digital Quality Assurance exercise aimed at extending the carrying capacity of OGITECH's programmes.
The NBTE's digital quality assurance policy aims to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve transparency, and produce higher-quality and more practical-oriented graduates.
The exercise was conducted to increase OGITECH's carrying capacity, allowing the Institute to accommodate more students in its well-equipped facilities.
The exercise also involved the approval of new programmes, including HND Cyber Security, HND Artificial Intelligence, and HND Software and Web Development.
The exercise demonstrates OGITECH Management's commitment to academic excellence and producing self-reliant graduates who can solve the country's problems.
The NBTE team leader, Dr. (Mrs.) Fatima Kabir Umar, commended Dr. Oluseye for transforming OGITECH into a modern institution. She noted that all OGITECH programmes are already accredited, and the current visitation is in response to the Institute's request to increase its carrying capacity.
