The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has issued a notice to students from six institutions that were part of the recent loan disbursement cycle. Students who applied for the student loan between May 24th and July 17th, 2024, and have had their applications approved, are advised to visit their respective institutions to confirm that their tuition fees have been received.

The institutions involved in this disbursement are Bayero University Kano, University of Ilorin, University of Benin, University of Ibadan, University of Maiduguri, and Federal University Dutsin-Ma.

NELFUND emphasized that the loan disbursements are being processed in batches. Students who applied after the current disbursement window will have their loans processed in subsequent cycles. The fund assures all students that approved loans will be disbursed transparently and in a timely manner.

Students from other institutions whose loans have been approved but were not included in the current disbursement cycle are encouraged to remain patient as their funds will be released in upcoming batches.
