Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna Secures Full Professional Accreditation for Community Health Programmes

Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna is delighted to announce the successful attainment of Full Professional Accreditation from the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) for its Community Health programmes.

According to the official accreditation letter dated 4th May 2026, the accreditation takes effect from the 2025/2026 academic session and remains valid until the end of the 2029/2030 academic session, subject to renewal thereafter.

The accreditation followed a comprehensive assessment conducted by the Board, which evaluated the institution's compliance with national standards and best practices in community health education. Key areas assessed included curriculum implementation, staff qualifications and capacity, infrastructure, clinical training facilities, and student support services.

The Board acknowledged the College's commitment to quality training and noted satisfactory compliance with the prescribed standards for community health education in Nigeria. While offering recommendations for further improvement in specific operational areas, the Board expressed confidence in the institution's ability to sustain excellence in the training of future healthcare professionals.

Speaking on the achievement, the management of Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna described the accreditation as a significant milestone that reflects the institution's unwavering commitment to academic excellence, professional competence, and the development of highly skilled healthcare personnel.
