The Commandant was joined by a senior management delegation from the Academy, which included the Academy Provost, Prof. Salisu Adamu Abdullahi; the Director of Works and Physical Infrastructure, CP Engr. Musa Muhammad; and the Director of Courses and Training, CP Basiran Ishaku Markus.

The warm, home setting allowed for a personal conversation, giving AIG Atayero the opportunity to update the Minister on the major achievements and institutional progress recorded under his watch. The core purpose of the visit was to formally invite Senator Geidam to the Commandant's upcoming Pulling-Out Parade. The historic event, which marks the very first time an outgoing POLAC Commandant will be officially pulled out, is scheduled to take place on Monday, 27th July 2026, at 09:00 hrs at the Muhammadu Buhari GCFR Parade Ground inside the Academy.
During the briefing, AIG Atayero expressed his deepest thanks to the Minister for his unwavering support throughout his tenure. The Commandant noted that if he will write a book about his journey as the 24th Commandant of the Academy, the Minister's invaluable contributions would definitely take up at least an entire chapter.
Senator Geidam was delighted to host the Commandant and his team, offering heartfelt prayers for AIG Atayero's success in all his future endeavours. Reflecting on his partnership with the Academy, the Minister shared that his motivation was a sincere desire to see things done perfectly for the ultimate benefit of the institution. He reminded the Commandant that retirement does not mean the end of their bond, stating that their relationship must continue and communication must keep flowing.
Assuring the Commandant of his lifelong support, the Minister emphasized that his doors remain open for AIG Atayero's advice, ideas, and input at any time, whether delivered verbally or in writing.
