Nigerian Ambassador to Kuwait, Gamji, to Build Guest House for CUSTECH Osara

The Nigerian Ambassador to Kuwait, Alhaji Abubakar Sanusi Gamji, is set to construct a guest house for the Confluence University of Science and Technology, CUSTECH, Osara, Kogi State.

The development was disclosed on Tuesday in Osara by the Vice-Chancellor of CUSTECH, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, when he received a delegation representing the Ambassador, led by the Chairman of Gamji Political Networks, Alhaji Abdulhamid Lawa Vital, alongside the Ambassador's team of engineers.

The delegation visited the university to inspect and formally identify a suitable site for the proposed guest house, with officials of the Directorate of Physical Planning and Development led by its Director, Bldr. Ismail Adoke, facilitating the site allocation.

Expressing his appreciation, the Vice-Chancellor commended Alhaji Gamji, an Ebira-born philanthropist, for his commitment to the development of CUSTECH and for choosing to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the young institution.

Prof. Salawu described the proposed project as a significant gesture of support for the university, noting that interventions from individuals and organisations would complement the efforts of the university's management and government in providing critical infrastructure.

He called on other well-meaning individuals, corporate organisations and philanthropists to emulate the Ambassador's gesture by supporting the continued development of CUSTECH, Osara.

Speaking on behalf of Alhaji Gamji, Alhaji Abdulhamid Lawa Vital said the Ambassador remained committed to supporting CUSTECH and would continue to identify with projects capable of advancing the university.

He assured the university management that the proposed guest house would not be the end of Alhaji Gamji's intervention, stressing that after the guest house, more projects would still come.

He said the Ambassador considered support for education and institutional development a worthy investment in the future of the society.

The site allocation exercise was conducted by the Director of Physical Planning and Development, Bldr. Ismail Adoke, and his team, who accompanied the delegation to the designated location for the proposed project.
