Method of Application

Visit the NDA application portal and select “Purchase Access Code”.

Complete the online application and upload a scanned copy of SSCE, NECO, or equivalent results.

Download the Acknowledgement Form after submission.

Applicants must also apply through JAMB, select NDA as their first-choice institution, and sit for the UTME.

Admission Requirements

Minimum UTME Score: 210 for Engineering courses; 180 for other faculties

SSCE, NECO, or equivalent results must not be older than 5 years.

Knowledge of French or Arabic is an added advantage.

Screening Test

Phase One: NDA Screening Test on Saturday, 6th June 2026

Requirements: Acknowledgement Form, Screening Test Admission Card, JAMB result slip, and two (2) passport-sized photographs (chest upwards, with name, exam number, state, exam centre, course, and signature on the back)

Only successful candidates will proceed to the Armed Forces Selection Board (Phase Two).

Training and Duration

Duration: 5 years of military and academic training

Graduates earn an honours degree (BSc, BEng, BA) and a Presidential Commission into the Nigerian Armed Forces

Training cost and logistics are fully covered by the Federal Government

NDA offers a Compendium of Past Questions & Answers at a token fee through the Registry for interested candidates.

Candidates are encouraged to carefully follow instructions on the application portal and prepare all necessary documents ahead of the screening test.
