NIM Chartered Commends TASUED Management, Convenes 2026 South-West Zonal Summit
The leadership of the Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered (NIM Chartered) has commended the Management of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED), Ijagun, for its commitment to staff development and continuous professional training.
The commendation was given by Dr Taiwo Ganiyat Olusesi, Registrar and Chief Executive of NIM Chartered, during a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Samuel Oladipo, in his office recently.
Dr Olusesi, who led members of the Institute on the visit, disclosed that the TASFUED Chapter of NIM is currently the best-performing chapter in the South-West zone of the Country.
According to her, the achievement is largely due to the support and encouragement consistently extended to members of the Institute by the University Management.
She also applauded the Management for adopting membership of the Institute as one of the prerequisites for the promotion of Administrative Officers, describing the policy as a demonstration of the institution’s commitment to professionalism and capacity development.

The courtesy visit coincided with the Institute’s 2026 Second Quarter Zonal 2 Meeting, hosted by TASFUED at the Senate Chamber of the University’s Academic Building.
Speaking during the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oladipo,MNPA, CMCPN, MCAN, FIELPN, expressed delight at receiving the leadership of the Institute and appreciated NIM Chartered for choosing TASFUED as the host institution for the important regional engagement.
Prof. Oladipo, who formally declared the meeting open, highlighted the enduring professional values and ethical standards promoted by NIM Chartered, particularly its Code of Conduct which emphasises service, integrity, transparency, efficiency, and fairness in professional responsibilities.
The Vice-Chancellor noted that the principles upheld by the Institute remained essential for promoting ethical leadership, maintaining institutional credibility, fostering sustainable development, and driving national transformation.
He added that as a University committed to excellence in Education, character development, and leadership, TASFUED remains proud to partner with professional bodies that strengthen governance, enhance organisational performance, and advance nation-building.
He further wished participants fruitful deliberations and a successful meeting, while reaffirming the University’s commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and responsible leadership.
The zonal meeting also featured a keynote lecture titled, “Beyond Salary: Strategic Income Diversification for Nigerian Managers,” delivered by the University Librarian, Prof. Adebambo Oduwole.
The lecture stimulated discussions on innovative financial strategies and sustainable economic planning for professionals in Management.
