The Management of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka invites applications from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The programme leads to the award of a JUPEB Certificate, which enables successful candidates to secure Direct Entry admission into Nnamdi Azikiwe University and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and abroad.
Eligibility
Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at no more than two sittings, in subjects relevant to their intended course of study. English Language must be included among the credits.
Duration
The programme will run for one academic session comprising two semesters.

These subject combinations are acceptable for admission into degree programmes across the Sciences, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Arts in all JUPEB-affiliated universities, including Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
Method of Application
- Visit jupeb.unizik.edu.ng
- Click on JUPEB Portal.
- Select Generate Application Invoice.
- Provide your full name, state of origin, phone number, email, and submit.
- Use the RRR number on the generated invoice to make payment at the bank or pay online.
- After payment, revisit jupeb.unizik.edu.ng and click on JUPEB Portal.
- Select Fill Application Form.
- Enter your RRR number and submit.
- Complete the application form and print a copy.
- Print the application form again to serve as your acknowledgement slip.
General Information
- Applicants for the 2025/2026 preliminary programme should check the university website regularly for updates on admission status and other relevant information.
- All candidates must register for the 2026 JAMB Direct Entry during the programme.
- Candidates are required to use valid email addresses and personal phone numbers for registration.
- Application forms must be filled and submitted online either immediately or within two weeks of accessing the portal. Downloaded or printed forms will not be accepted.
