The Office of the Registrar, Northwest University (NWU), Kano, has released the schedule for physical verification and scrutiny of original documents for all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a memorandum signed by Muhammad Madi Muhammad, Senior Statistics Officer, on behalf of the Head of the Directorate of Examination, Admissions, and Records (DEAR), the exercise is faculty-based and will be conducted at the City Campus.

Verification Schedule by Faculty

  • Education & Arts: Monday, February 2, 2026
  • Science: Tuesday, February 3, 2026
  • Computing: Thursday, February 5, 2026
  • Social & Management Sciences: Friday, February 6, 2026
  • Basic Medical Science, Clinical Science & Allied Sciences: Monday, February 9, 2026

Required Documents

All students must present original copies of the following:

  1. JAMB Result Slip or Direct Entry (DE) Registration Slip
  2. Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) O’level Result
  3. NWU Post-UTME/DE Acknowledgement Slip
  4. Transcript (for Direct Entry students only)
