The Management of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, has released instructions for newly admitted students on the collection of academic gowns in preparation for the 21st Matriculation Ceremony.

In a circular signed by the Academic Secretary, Abubakar Ahmed Vokna, from the Office of the Registrar (Academic Division), all 2025/2026 session students are directed to collect their gowns from their respective Faculty Offices.

Gown Collection Schedule

  • Start Date: Wednesday, 28th January 2026
  • Time: From 10:00 a.m.
  • Matriculation Ceremony: Friday, 30th January 2026

Requirements for Collection

Students must present the following at their Faculty Office:

  1. Photocopy of a duly signed and stamped registration payment receipt
  2. Photocopy of their admission letter

Key Instructions

  • Academic gowns are issued free of charge.
  • Collection by proxy is strictly prohibited; all students must appear in person.
  • Gowns must be returned on or before Tuesday, 3rd February 2026.
  • Late returns or damages will attract penalties.

The University administration has urged all newly admitted students to adhere strictly to the guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful matriculation exercise.
