The newly approved programmes include:
- Doctor of Physiotherapy (D.PT.)
- Bachelor of Radiography (B.Rad.)
- B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS)
- B.Sc. Human Nutrition and Dietetics
- Bachelor of Community Health Sciences

The development positions the institution to broaden access to professional health education and strengthen its contribution to Nigeria’s healthcare workforce pipeline.
The university already offers established health-related programmes including Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Nursing Sciences, Environmental Health, and Public Health.
With the latest approval, the institution is expected to provide additional admission opportunities for candidates in the 2026 UTME cycle seeking careers in medical and allied health sciences.
