NUC Approves New Degree Programmes For Amadeus University, Admissions Begin For MBBS And Pharmacy
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval to Amadeus University, Amizi, Ikwuano LGA, Umuahia, to commence three new degree programmes effective from the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to the announcement from the university management, the approved programmes include MBBS Medicine and Surgery, LL.B Law, and Pharm.D Doctor of Pharmacy.
The approval followed the NUC’s thorough assessment of the university’s human and material resources for the takeoff of the programmes.

Following the approval, admissions have commenced into two of the programmes — MBBS Medicine and Surgery and D.Pharm Pharmacy. To qualify, candidates must have obtained a JAMB score of 200 and above for Medicine and Surgery and 180 for Pharmacy, alongside the required credit passes in relevant SSCE or NECO subjects.
Prospective students are to apply through the JAMB CAPS portal and change their institution and course to Amadeus University. Admissions are also ongoing for 19 other existing degree programmes listed on the university’s official portal.
The management stated that the admission process will close on November 30, 2025.
