UNIZIK Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Carol Arinze-Umobi Hosts Faculty Of Management Sciences Delegation

Speaking on behalf of the team, Prof. Pius V. C. Okoye, Director of UNIZIK Business School and member of the University Council, expressed appreciation to the Acting Vice-Chancellor for the warm reception and commended her outstanding leadership. He also briefed her on the Faculty’s forthcoming Hybrid International Conference 2025, themed “Navigating the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Era: Digital Transformation, Sustainability, and the Evolving Nature of Work.”
In her remarks, Prof. Arinze-Umobi lauded the Faculty for selecting a forward-thinking and globally relevant theme, expressing confidence that the conference would be a success given the quality of its keynote speakers and lead presenters. She assured the delegation of management’s support and announced that Prof. Mike Ezenwa, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, would represent her at the event.

Among those present were Prof. Francis O. Nwankwo, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences; Prof. Ebele Onwuka, Chairman of the Local Organising Committee; Prof. Faith Onwuchekwa, Head of the Department of Business Administration; Dr. Nma Okoroji, Uju Agbasi (CEM); Prof. Theophilus Okegbe; and Prof. Francis Udeh of the Accountancy Department.
The delegation also featured dignitaries including the Royal Father of the Occasion, HRM Igwe Dr. Joel Maduabuchi Egwuonwu, Eze Udo XI of Umuawulu Community, and the Chairman of the Occasion, Archbishop Dr. Onyeka Joseph Nzekwezi, CEO of Pineleaf Estate Properties Ltd.
