NUC Conducts Resource Verification for Four New Postgraduate Programmes at McPherson University

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has conducted a resource verification visit to McPherson University, as part of the accreditation process for four additional postgraduate programmes.

The programmes presented for accreditation include: Business Administration (PGD, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D.), Mass Communication (PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D.), History & International Studies (M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D.), and Microbiology (PGD, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D.).

During their exit, the various accreditation teams commended the University for its serene and conducive learning environment, as well as its facilities and qualified manpower across the programmes.

Speaking during the visit, the Vice-Chancellor, Francis Igbasan, appreciated the teams for their thorough assessment and constructive feedback. He assured them that the University would promptly address any identified areas requiring improvement.

The visit marks another step in McPherson University’s ongoing efforts to expand its postgraduate programmes and strengthen academic excellence.
