NUC Visits McPherson University for Economics Programme Accreditation

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has conducted an accreditation exercise for the Economics programme at McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo. The visit aimed to assess the programme's compliance with national standards and ensure quality assurance.

A team of NUC officials, led by Prof. Isa G. N., Maimunat O. Sulaiman, and Prof. I. G. Umaru, evaluated the programme's facilities, curriculum, and staff qualifications. They also interacted with students and faculty members as part of the verification process.

The university's management, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Francis Igbasan, assured the accreditation team of its commitment to maintaining high academic standards. The NUC officials appreciated the university's cooperation and warm reception, noting that their findings would support the strengthening of the Economics programme.
