The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released the timetable for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation Course, following approval by the Director-General.
According to the announcement, the orientation exercise will be conducted nationwide across all 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Orientation Camp Opens:
Wednesday, 21st January, 2026 -
Registration Period:
Wednesday, 21st January – Friday, 23rd January, 2026 -
Registration Deadline:
Midnight, Friday, 23rd January, 2026 -
Swearing-In Ceremony:
Friday, 23rd January, 2026 -
Orientation Camp Closes:
Tuesday, 10th February, 2026
Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) are advised to complete their registration within the approved window, as late registration will not be accommodated after the cut-off date.
The circular was issued by the NYSC Directorate Headquarters, Abuja, and signed by Nuru Umar, NPOM, Director of Press and Public Relations, on behalf of the Director-General.
NYSC further assured that additional guidelines and operational details will be communicated ahead of the commencement of the orientation exercise.
