OAU Opens 2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Registration for Eligible Candidates

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has announced the commencement of its 2026 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the institution.

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has announced the commencement of its 2026 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the institution.

According to the university, eligible candidates include those who selected OAU as their first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored 200 and above, as well as Direct Entry applicants.

Registration for the screening exercise will commence on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, and close on Friday, August 14, 2026.

The university outlined a step-by-step registration process for applicants as follows:

Step 1:
Candidates are to visit https://eportal2.oauife.edu.ng/ug/admissions

Step 2:
Applicants should select “Verify your Details”, then provide their JAMB Registration Number, email, and phone number. The system will automatically display their surname and first name for confirmation before proceeding to payment.

Payment can be made via card, bank transfer, USSD, or physical bank deposit through the designated payment gateway. Upon successful payment, login details will be sent to the applicant’s email address.

Candidates who do not receive their login details are advised to return to https://eportal2.oauife.edu.ng/ug/admissions, click “Confirm Your Payment”, enter their JAMB Registration Number or email, and validate to have their login credentials resent.

Step 3:
Applicants are to return to the portal at https://eportal2.oauife.edu.ng/ug/admissions, click “Login”, and enter their JAMB Registration Number as both username and password (password is not case-sensitive) to access their dashboard.

Step 4:
After logging in, candidates are to click “My Application”, complete all required fields, and carefully review their information.

Step 5:
Applicants are to click “Submit” to finalize the application process.
