Police Investigate WAEC Exam Question Leakage

The police have launched an investigation into the leakage of examination questions during the ongoing 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The leakages, which occurred prior to the scheduled examination dates, involved question papers being sold online to interested candidates for between ₦1,000 and ₦5,000.

The leakage of the English Language paper on Wednesday led to a delay in the examination, prompting WAEC to reset the questions. This resulted in affected candidates taking the exam at odd hours, sparking widespread outrage among guardians and parents.

According to reports, the police have met with relevant agencies and are tracking information related to the leakage. The investigation is currently ongoing.
