Prof. Chike Princewill Leads UniPort Community in Historic Campus Clean-Up, Declares Monthly Sanitation Day

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor Chike Princewill, today led members of the University Management, Directors, staff and students in a historic campus-wide clean-up exercise. This marks the beginning of a new environmental sustainability initiative in the University.

As part of the initiative, the Vice-Chancellor declared the last Saturday of every month as the University's official Campus Sanitation Day, dedicated to promoting a cleaner, healthier and more beautiful learning environment.

Demonstrating exemplary leadership, Professor Princewill moved from hostel to hostel, interacting with students and encouraging them to actively participate in cleaning their surroundings. He emphasized that environmental cleanliness is a shared responsibility and called on every member of the University community to embrace the culture of sanitation and environmental stewardship.
