Rivers State University Hosts 117th Inaugural Lecture

The Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, recently hosted its 117th Inaugural Lecture, featuring Prof. Loveday A. Nwanyanwu as the guest speaker. The lecture, titled "Managing A Nation's Economy: The Quantitative and Qualitative Accounting Distinction," highlighted key aspects of economic management.

The university's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, has been instrumental in sustaining the bimonthly Inaugural Lecture series, showcasing the institution's commitment to academic excellence.

Prof. Zeb-Obipi was appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Rivers State University in March 2025, bringing extensive experience in university administration and management.

 A Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, Prof. Zeb-Obipi previously served as the Director of Information and Communication Technology Centre at the university.
