Rivers State University (RSU), Port Harcourt, Nigeria, hosted a delegation from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on November 6, 2025, to explore collaborative initiatives addressing climate change and environmental sustainability.

RSU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, expressed gratitude for UNEP's choice of RSU as a partner, underscoring the university's commitment to environmental research and sustainable development in the Niger Delta.
