Today 27th of September, 2023, SEND Hosts her first African Conference Live at Bayero University Kano.

Send is a self-custodial crypto app, hosted on Ethereum Blockchain (ERC-20) that lets you spend crypto directly with a debit card. 

The event was a great experience to the attendees, an enormous propagation for #SEND, an enlightenment of the crypto ecosystem to Africa and a step to further onboard Africa into the crypto space.

The host, Badmus Uthman Olayemi (Xino Zee) a 300level student in the faculty of Law, while making his presentation, divulged the secrets towards attainment of financial freedom by leveraging on the emerging technologies and innovation in the cryptocurrency industry like #SEND. 

Another speaker, Sakeeb Abd lateef (Abdulbit) made an enlightening presentation on the areas of blockchain technology. He unraveled the mystery around some key concepts in the block such as smart chain, cryptocurrencies, wallet address and risk management in trading. 

The above contribution was corroborated by a presentation made by another speaker, Solahudeen Ridwanullah Olalekan (Sahm, a 200l student from the faculty of Law) who represented AntsAmplifier at the event, where he spoke on "Binance PEER-TO-PEER TRADING: An indispensable kit for a defijobber." During the course of his presentation, he shared some risk-management strategies when using binance P2P for trading. 

Adebayo Mubarak (Hayhem), a coordinator at the event and 300l student from the faculty of Law took the audience by the hand on a tour towards understanding the intricacies of blockchain technology.
