SOSSA-UDUS Urges Calm Amid Tuition Concerns Ahead of Examinations

As examinations approach at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), the Sokoto State Students’ Association (SOSSA-UDUS) has called for calm and focus among its members amid rising concerns over tuition fee payments.

In an official notice signed by Comrade Sagir Usman, Chairman of SOSSA-UDUS, and released through the association's Publicity Secretary, Mujahid Mustapha Muhammad, the leadership acknowledged the frustrations many students are experiencing due to unresolved tuition-related issues.

“Your frustrations are valid, but we encourage you not to let these challenges derail your preparation or performance. Stay resilient, stay hopeful,” the statement read, striking a tone of empathy and reassurance.

The association emphasized that it is actively engaging with relevant authorities and stakeholders to address the tuition concerns, reiterating its commitment to the welfare and dignity of its members.

As the exam period draws closer, SOSSA-UDUS commended students for their patience, understanding, and dedication. It also urged unity and perseverance, encouraging students to make the forthcoming examinations a “collective success” despite the current challenges.
