Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED) has hosted the 2026 International Conference of the National Association for the Study of Religions and Education (NASRED).

The conference, organised by the Department of Religious Studies, College of Humanities, focused on the theme, “Religion, Education and Health Challenges in the Contemporary Society.”
The event brought together scholars, researchers and stakeholders to examine the intersection between religion, education and health, as well as their roles in addressing contemporary societal challenges.
The conference was declared open by the Vice-Chancellor of TASFUED, Professor Samuel Oladipo, MNPA, CMCPN, MCAN, FIELPN, who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Adekunle Adeogun, FISN.
Professor Adeogun also served as the keynote presenter at the conference, where discussions centred on the relevance of religious and educational approaches in responding to emerging social and health concerns.

The hosting of the NASRED 2026 International Conference further highlights TASFUED’s commitment to academic engagement, research development and knowledge exchange in addressing societal issues.
