TETFund Technical Advisory Group Visits MAU Yola

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Technical Advisory Group (TAG) recently visited Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, as part of a nationwide viability assessment tour of Academic Publishing Centres (APCs).

The TAG members, Prof. Babagana Mohammed and Prof. Danjuma Gambo, were on campus to assess the viability of the University's Academic Publishing Centre. The assessment aims to inform TETFund's decisions on reactivating and providing strategic support to APCs nationwide, with the goal of enhancing academic publishing in Nigerian tertiary institutions.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Admin.), Prof. Aliyu Bawuro Mustafa, commended TETFund for its initiative to revitalize academic publishing centres across the six geo-political zones. He assured the team of the University's full cooperation and support to ensure the success of the assessment exercise.
