Thomas Adewumi University Earns ACCA Accreditation for B.Sc. Accounting Programme

Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) has achieved a major international milestone after its B.Sc. Accounting programme received accreditation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom, one of the world's leading professional accounting bodies.

The accreditation positions TAU among a select group of universities whose accounting programmes meet globally recognised standards for academic quality, professional relevance, and excellence.

With the accreditation, Thomas Adewumi University is now officially recognised as an ACCA-accredited university and an official ACCA partner, providing its Accounting students and graduates with significant professional advantages.

According to the university, graduates of the B.Sc. Accounting programme will be eligible for ACCA examination exemptions, enabling them to complete fewer professional examinations on their journey to becoming globally recognised Chartered Certified Accountants.

Students will also benefit from access to a dedicated TAU portal on the ACCA platform for registration, learning resources, and progress tracking. Eligible students will equally have the opportunity to register for free ACCA student membership.
