Topfaith University has invited scholars, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, development practitioners and students to participate in the International Conference on Leadership and Governance (CLG 2026).
Topfaith University has invited scholars, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, development practitioners and students to participate in the International Conference on Leadership and Governance (CLG 2026).
The conference, themed "Leadership and Governance in a Changing World: Navigating Opportunities and Challenges for Nigeria," will provide a platform for discussions on the country's evolving social, economic, technological and governance landscape.
According to the organisers, the conference aims to foster meaningful dialogue, promote innovative ideas and generate practical solutions through contributions from experts in academia, government and industry.

The event is scheduled as follows:
- Date: Thursday, July 2, 2026
- Venue: Topfaith University, Mkpatak, Akwa Ibom State
Dr. Vincent O. Olatunji, National Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), will deliver the keynote address.
The Guest of Honour is Dr. Andy Eyo, DFAI, Chief Executive Officer of the Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS), Uyo.
Other guest speakers include:
- Professor Iniobong Umotong – Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Akwa Ibom State University.
- Professor Charles Obot – Vice Dean, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, University of Uyo.
- Ms. Mmanti Umoh – Executive Director, Community Stakeholders for Social Good, Uyo.
The university said the conference will examine the future of leadership and governance in a rapidly changing world while providing participants with opportunities to exchange ideas and contribute to policy and governance discussions relevant to Nigeria's development.
