UDUS Agric students’ president-elect guarantees reforms, says ‘facilities underutilized’

Anas Bello, the president-elect of the National Association of Agricultural Students (NAAS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS Chapter), has guaranteed reforms to ensure facilities are no longer underutilized.

Bello said that plans beneficial to students can only be achieved through collaborations and investments.

The president-elect made this known while speaking with VANGUARD PRESS about the successful faculty election held last week.

Announced winner, having secured the highest number of votes, 315 out of a total of 555 votes recorded across eight contested positions.

Bello explained that his administration would focus on helping students by addressing the financial challenges facing the association.

Speaking further, Bello said, “Our association has a parking space, but it’s not utilized. We plan to develop and manage it.”

In addition, he gave assurance of partnership with agricultural organizations.

“Partnerships will provide students with financial support and opportunities, and also help sustain the association in the long run,” said Bello"
