The University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE), Akamkpa, has announced plans to hold its First Anniversary Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, 24 June 2026.
According to a memo signed by the University Registrar, Amb. Gabriel O. Egbe, Ph.D., the event is scheduled to take place at 10:00 a.m. in the Senate Chamber.
The management stated that the occasion marks one year of the institution’s existence, describing it as a period of purposeful growth, development, and institutional consolidation. It also acknowledged that, like most emerging universities, the institution continues to experience some teething challenges alongside its achievements.
The anniversary event is expected to serve both as a celebration and a strategic engagement platform for staff members, who are key stakeholders in the university system. It will provide an opportunity to review progress made so far, assess institutional accomplishments and challenges, and collectively chart a sustainable path for future development.

To ensure full participation, the university has declared the day lecture-free.
All staff members have been directed to attend punctually and actively participate in the meeting, which management described as a historic milestone. Their involvement, the statement noted, is essential in demonstrating commitment to the growth of the university and reinforcing its shared vision.
The institution further urged members of the university community to use the occasion to reflect on achievements, evaluate challenges, and renew commitment to building a world-class institution anchored on excellence, education, and entrepreneurship.
