Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic Sokoto to Introduce HND in Mass Communication
Rector Malam Aliyu Balarabe announced this development during a visit from the 2010/2011 Mass Communication students and the Coalition of Sokoto State Students Organizations (COSSO).

Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, is set to introduce a Higher National Diploma (HND) program in Mass Communication soon. Rector Malam Aliyu Balarabe announced this development during a visit from the 2010/2011 Mass Communication students and the Coalition of Sokoto State Students Organizations (COSSO).
Malam Aliyu Balarabe expressed gratitude for their visit and the award of excellence presented by the delegation. He assured ongoing support for education and community development. Delegation leaders Malam Umar Faruk and Daniyalo Mai Lafiya congratulated the Rector and presented the award in recognition of his leadership and contributions to education, welfare, and youth development.
The event was attended by Director of Works Engr Rayyanu Usman, Physical Projects TETFund Desk Officer Engr. Nasiru Muhammad Sani, Director of Entrepreneurship Education Development Malam Ibrahim Yakub, and other staff members.
